    Universal Catalytic Converters

    Although there is nothing more efficient than a direct-fit Catalytic Converter, sometimes the situation calls for a universal one.
    Not all Universal Converters are created equal. There is a fine line between "budget friendly" and "inefficient".
    There is no 100% right answer, but there are a few wrong answers. 
    Use this guide to set you on the right path to choosing the best one for your situation! 

Standard OBDII

As a secondary Catalyst on most applications with 2 Converters.
As a main converter for applications up to 2005.

Advanced OBDII

As a main converter for applications up to 2010.
Not to be used as main converter on light-duty trucks (pickups) or bigger.

Problem Solver OBDII

As a main converter for newer applications. Ideal to be used in applications as main converter on Y-Pipes of light duty trucks (pickups).

Heavy Duty OBDII

As a main converter for newer applications requiring larger diameter catalytic converters. 

Ideal for Turbo Applications.
